ChessKid Collaboration

At the start of 2020, I met with Mike Klein, the director of ChessKid, and began talks for a potential collaboration.

ChessKid is a platform for kids to learn and improve their chess skills. Their mission is to make chess fun, safe and accessible, and strive to create positive experiences where kids are motivated to learn, play and enjoy the game for a lifetime.

Kids are able to do exercises, solve puzzles, play games and answer questions, so they can progress up a ladder and see their ranking. I’ve always recommended ChessKid to all of my students, and they have all greatly benefitted from using it.

I was able to work with them to translate the website into Chinese, as well as provide voice overs in Chinese for all their videos. You’ll be able to find it by scrolling to the bottom, selecting “Language” and then selecting “Chinese”.

Because of this collaboration, I’ve also been given a special link that gives anyone who uses it 40% off of their ChessKid Gold Membership! You’ll be able to find the links at the bottom of this post.

The ChessKid Gold Membership is really helpful to both students and parents, as it gives a pair of connected accounts so that parents can watch, and practice with, their kids.

ChessKid is incredibly helpful for kids of all ages to learn and practice chess, and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Follow the links below to find out more information on Gold Membership, as well as for 40% off!
